Generalist Intern

(3-4 interns per semester, selected semesterly) Generalist Interns are selected from all areas of the the School of Art and Design and occasionally from other colleges at the University.  Generalist Interns are responsible for all manor of preparatory work related to our exhibitions and includes training on how to handle, pack and install 2-D and 3-D media.  Generalist interns get a deep, “behind the scenes” understanding of how exhibitions are organized, managed, installed and curated.  Generalist interns can expect to develop tangible skills that assist with job readiness for a career working in art galleries or non-profit arts organizations/museums.
